SEARCH PROCESS

 

At Computer Image you can expect us to conduct a methodical and meticulous search to find the candidate who best fits your specific needs for a particular IT position. It is a process that is systematically undertaken and monitored closely and carefully throughout.

 

The following represents the general stages of our professional search process:

 

First, we listen. Finding out about your company’s culture and history is our best starting place for ensuring a proper fit of candidate with your firm. Next, we form a job profile. This includes gathering a description of job scope, responsibilities, skills and experience requirements, as well as, the job compensation package. It is after this thorough information gathering stage that we begin to search for the ideal candidate.

 

Many of our candidates are already gainfully employed in the information technology field. Others are actively seeking new positions. All potential candidates share one thing in common—they are open to the possibility of new and challenging projects and/or positions.

 

As we begin to talk and later interview these potential candidates we look at two categories. One is their education, skills and experience levels to ensure that they meet the qualifications for the position being filled. Secondly, we also determine their level of interest in pursuing this new opportunity during this early stage of the search process in order to avoid surprises later.

 

Following face to face interviews with our recruiting consultants, we draw up our short list of prescreened candidates. This list is then presented to you for your selection of potential candidates. We will conduct further screening on those candidates that you are interested in interviewing. This includes performing extensive reference checks, background checks, etc.

 

The interview process involves preparation of candidates and employer; interview set up and follow up.  Following interviews, we conduct debriefing of candidates and employer. This process involves focusing on the interest levels and questions or concerns of both parties. If the parties are still interested, additional interviews are arranged.

 

Once a selection is made, the hiring stage of the search process begins. We will verify earnings, assist in the negotiation of the offer, present the offer, and consult with the candidate on the resignation and counter offer process. Confirmation of the employment offer and start up date is sent to both parties in writing.

 

Once employment begins Computer Image will continue to offer ongoing support. We remain in contact with the employer and candidate through the initial phase of employment to ensure mutual satisfaction.
